I got tired of buying onion rings with very little onion filling, so I did this. Cut into wedges, dip in milk then flour. Refrigerate for 20-30 mins, dip in milk then breadcrumbs. Refrigerate again then another coating of milk and breadcrumbs. Deep-fry at 160c/320f for a couple of minutes, drain and fry again at 190c/375f for about a minute. Yum!!

They look amazing. I would choose these over the rings. Great job.

  2. The pub near me does this, tbh i prefer onion rings

imagine biting into a potato wedge and realising it’s something better.

Looked like a weird piece of fried fish at first glance then I scrolled back and took a closer look to find something truly heartwarming. Thank you for this glorious moment op, and I won’t forget this for the rest of my life. You’ve inspired me to do great things, and I think with my newfound knowledge I can recreate the same type of beautiful symphony you’ve beheld for us all to encapture albeit lacking physical senses. I’ve been transcended to another planet of reality. And I hope when I make this goddamn masterpiece I can be taken to such a utopia. Thank you for your service op. I have been touched by an angel 🙏

I’ve made something similar but I roast the wedges some to soften and caramelize, then cool and then bread and fry.

These look great! Would happily eat a whole plate of these. Do you also recommend a dip or a barbecue sauce?
